Kanye West, Talib Kweli and Lupe Fiasco are all scheduled to make appearances at this years Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN. Now in its seventh year, the festival is a four day event that typically features performances from some of the biggest names in music and comedy performing across multiple stages on a 700 acre farm located 60 miles south of Nashville. The festival’s lineup has historically been diverse and this year’s event promises to follow suit with artists such as Metallica, B.B. King and The Raconteurs all scheduled to perform. According to Billboard.com, Bonnaroo is the top grossing North American music festival, bringing in an estimated $18 million in ticket sales in 2007. Bonnaroo 2008’s final lineup is expected to include over 100 acts and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages. "I actually feel like it's one of our strongest lineups to date and it strengthens our diversity within our programming," Jonathan Mayers, president of festival co-producers Superfly Productions, tells Billboard.com. "I know we still have a lot more to add, too, so I'm excited about it and feel like we're going to have a very successful year." Bonnaroo 2008 will run from June 12-15. Tickets go on sale on Bonnaroo.com on February 16.
