Flo Rida’s smash single “Low” has landed on top of the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart for the tenth consecutive week, which puts the up and comer in the company as such superstars as Kanye West and Beyonce. The R&B princess was the previous record holder for her single “Irreplaceable,” which enjoyed a 10-week run during 2006 and 2007. Prior to Bey, Yeezy’s ubiquitous 2005 smash “Gold Digger,” with Jamie Foxx, held down the top spot for two and a half months. In related news, Flo may have another smash hit on his hands. His latest single, the Timbaland produced “Elevator,” shot up 72 places on the chart to land at No. 28. The Miami native’s debut album, Mail on Sunday, hits stores on March 18.
