50 Cent has settled an assault lawsuit brought by Jim Alcorn, a former photographer and current deputy photo assignment editor for the New York Post. Alcorn, filed the $21 million suit in 2003 after he sustained jaw and neck injuries after being roughed up by seven of 50’s bodyguards as he tried to capture photos of the rapper leaving a Manhattan jewelry shop. Both Curtis and Interscope records were named in the suit, which accused the rapper and record label of “not exercising reasonable care and diligence in the employment” of the security personnel. According to the Post, the G-Unit boss has agreed to pay Alcorn an undisclosed sum. “A settlement was reached and all parties are satisfied,” commented Alcorn's attorney, Sanford Rubenstein.
