Lil Wayne Sued by Car Customizer over ‘99 Bentley

A California based car customizer has filed suit against Lil Wayne over the rapper’s alleged non-payment for parts and services for a burgundy 1999 Bentley Arnage. According to website thesmokinggun.com, who attained a copy of the suit, LeMarck deAndre of The Wall Street Group claims that Weezy paid him $78,507 in August of 2006, some ten months after the payment was initially due. The plaintiff asserts that since the payment was late, the rapper had breached the initial customization contract, prompting deAndre to terminate the transaction altogether. The customizer then demanded additional payment to cover the cost of parts already ordered and the expense of shipping the vehicle back to Wayne. After initially refusing to pay the charges, Weezy finally entered into a new agreement with the deAndre that would cover the cost of parts, shipment and storage of the vehicle. In the suit, deAndre asserts that the rapper has now breached the second contract by failing to pay storage fees of $79,200. The suit asks that the court award deAndre the $79,200 sum, including an additional $200 per day since Novermber 1, plus attorney fees.
