According to the Associated Press, State Supreme Court Justice Melissa Jackson made her decision after requesting more information following the rapper’s recent petition. Laura M. Dilimetin, the rapper’s attorney, had argued that her client’s hearing was deteriorating in prison and her cochlear implant was failing. Dilimetin claimed that Fox could only receive the treatment she needed at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles, but prosecutors objected, noting that she could obtain the treatment in New York.
