Philadelphia native Will Smith, who went from a teenage rapper to an international superstar, was honored in a ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Monday (December 10). Smith joined a long and prestigious list of movie and television stars when he left imprints of his hands and feet in the cement in front of the Hollywood landmark. "I'm humble, I'm honored, my heart is just beating right now," Smith told reporters. “I don't really understand it—I’m not used to feeling like that. There’s something in the concrete about being etched into the fiber of Hollywood." According to the AFP, his good friend and fellow movie star Tom Cruise was also on hand to congratulate him and help him celebrate. Over the years, Smith has ascended through the ranks to become one of the most sought after and well paid actors in the film industry. His latest film, I Am Legend hits theatres on December 14.
