Jay-Z announced this week that he will be bringing his successful American Gangster tour to Las Vegas for New Year’s weekend. The superstar MC and Def Jam president will perform at the Pearl at the Palms Casino on Saturday, December 29. Tickets for the engagement will cost $128, $178 and $228, and go on sale this Saturday (December 15) through Ticketmaster. Hov’s American Gangster LP, which was released on November 6, clocked in at No. 30 on the Billboard 200 this week, having sold 740,351 copies to date. In related news, Jay will also host the grand opening of his third 40/40 Club sports bar on December 30. The 24,000 square foot high end sports bar will be located in the brand new Palazzo, a 53-story extension of the Venetian and Sands casino complex.
