Funeral Arrangements for Pimp C Finalized

Funeral arrangements for UGK member Pimp C have been finalized and were announced early Monday (December 10). According to KPRC Local 2, Pimp’s funeral will be held at the Bob Bowers Civic Center in the rapper’s hometown of Port Arthur, TX at 11 a.m. on Thursday December 13. The legendary MC will then be laid to rest during a private ceremony at the Greenland Cemetery. Fans and artists from across the country are expected to attend the services. Pimp was found dead in his room at the Mondrian Hotel in Beverly Hills last Tuesday (December 4). A cause of death is yet to be determined. The rapper was 33.

    Never got to know this talented artist, or Bun B, but his music was very influential. Never etched out with a pencil to a stencil. But real rhymed the real, cold cased no deal, said it at 100, a whole pie was more his meal. Feel the movement of the kings of underground, you can check for them a century and still be found. not even water can flood and ruin this drown. Cus he’s free and flapping his wings with the crown.

    My greatest condolences goes out to the brother Bun B. He was more than a partner, deeper than family. We all take that ride to that other side, and need to remember our spirit down here still resides. Trill’s the new deal, its deepest touched that is feeled, turning each wheel as it gets mass appeal!

    Oh, Im from Little Rock, Arkansas. Its a lot of jams that I could have put on the list. “Playas from the South stack Gs” is definitely a classic. “Pocket full of Stones”(both versions)is a classic. But, them dudes really just made hits. I remember everything. I was at the show in Little Rock in 1994 at the Statehouse Convention Center when they where about to go on and people started shootin in the Convention Center. Playas PLEASE help spread the word about all the TIGHT music that they had on other websites so people might take a listen.

    I got the PSK-13 “Like Yesterday” vynal we was playin on an Independent radio station in 1996. We was bangin “Havin Thangs”(produced by Pimp C) off the Big Mike album.

    My list aint the only list. Make a list of songs and post it everywhere!!! Cause honestly my list would have had about 80 song…and yall know they at least 80 records that BANGIN’…feel me.

    I just posted my personal favorites. I was gone stop it at 10. But, I had to put 4 more. And even now I wish I would have put “Thin line between Dubs and Weight”.

    I hope someone who attending Pimp C’s funeral came to know Christ. Funerals are not for the dead but for those who are alive and living in sin (living for self, money, fame, sex, drugs, etc). It’s another opportunity to accept the Gospel of Christ and live the life that God has purposed for you.

    If anyone is in Christ, they are a new person. Old things have passed and new things have come.
