Friend Saves Beanie Sigel’s Maserati from Auction

An unidentified friend of Beanie Sigel paid off $1,700 in outstanding parking tickets for the rapper on Monday (December 10), saving his 2005 Maserati from the auction block. According to the Philadelphia Daily News, the car was booted and towed in South Philly last month and was set to be auctioned off just 12 hours after the person resolved the outstanding tickets and retrieved the vehicle from a Philadelphia Parking Authority impound. Parking authority spokeswoman Linda Miller confirmed that the car had been released, but could not comment on who picked it up.

    I just can’t believe that XXL would print this story (even if publishing it to the web *whuddup Eskay* doesn’t count as printing) if it wasn’t true. Lawsuits are real, so they wouldn’t take the chance on being sued or losing that Roc-A-Fella advertising cheese if it wasn’t an official police report or something just as credible.

    It is public information when somebody almost loses a car to the auction block. Therefore, we can pretty much be assured that Beans’ car was really about to get sold for the low-low. Otherwise, we’d never hear about it.

    $1,700? That’s all? I’m about to pay off one of my last credit report problems from 10 years ago for $200 less than it cost Jay-Z some Good Samaritan to un-impound his European whip by February 2008, and I’m making sure it goes down without a hitch (no pun intended).

    But I don’t own a sportscar, especially one that burns gas like Mike Vick/Ron Mexico burns rubbers, so I guess you can say I have my priorities in order. My slab is a nice, used American joint that is easy on gas and non-existent on the wallet. Paid in full, like Eric B. and Rakim.

    Plus I never publicly implied that one of my best collaborating producers was a homosexual, as well as Pharrell. So I win, and Beans loses.

    Damn, Beans. It’s not looking good, even for gold status. And I’ve bought – as in paid for – two of your past albums, because you are a good MC.

    Let’s see if Beans links back up with Dame, or even worse – DeHaven – after his album goes “Skeet”, just to get back at Jigga for “taking all the marketing budget” and not promoting The Solution.

    The Solution is HORRIBLE! This is Beans WORST album. I expected it be better. I like 5 songs out of 13. Damn Dwight, we could’ve at least got 6 (one more than right under half)? The production is bad. I hope Bleek don’t dissappoint me. Pay the $1700 dog, I mean you do have the Maserati all in your booking for the cover of “The Solution”.
