Attorneys representing T.I. filed a motion in federal court on Tuesday (November 6) requesting permission for a Thanksgiving gathering at his Atlanta home. Tip, who is currently under strict home confinement as a condition of his release on $3 million bond, is currently allowed only three pre-approved visitors per day between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Under the restrictions, only the rapper’s girlfriend and children are allowed to stay at the home, and he must wear a GPS tracking device to monitor his movements. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the rapper is asking U.S. Magistrate Alan Baverman to make an exception for the holiday and allow a larger group between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. A list of the visitors was submitted with the request. Also included in the motion was a request to allow workers onto the property to clean his yard, home and pool. Dwight Thomas, one of the MC’s attorneys said his client is coping well with home confinement. "He's doing fine,” Thomas told the AJC. “He's very upbeat. He's looking forward to his day in court."
