Monday Night Fight Klub, the New York based underground battle competition, is looking for unsigned battle rappers for their upcoming second season. As part of their “60 Second Assassin contest,” Fight Klub is asking prospective contestants to upload videos or mp3’s showcasing their talent either at www.thefightklub.com, or via their customized Youtube channel, www.youtube.com/fktour2007.

Additionally, if you happen to be an aspiring MC, but don’t consider yourself a battle rapper, you can also take part in the FK Anthem competition to find a new opening and closing theme song for second season. Through the Fight Klub website you can download an original track produced by DJ Green Lantern which you can then use to record your entry and upload the finished mp3 of your submission. Fight Klub’s creators, host International P and Green Lantern himself will then judge the entries and announce a winner in February of next year. The winner will also receive a signature mixtape from DJ Green Lantern.

Fight Klub was founded in 2004 and the enjoyed a successful first season that aired on the MTV2 Network. Previous contestants include Remy Ma, Jin, 40 Cal and Serious Jones, and battles often feature panels of celebrity judges. Fight Klub also recently opened a brand new 5,000 square foot recording studio in Manhattan that will be available for booking by both established and up and coming artists.
