Mannie Fresh’s Sister Found Murdered in New Orleans Home

The 42-year-old sister of former Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh was found murdered in her New Orleans home on Thursday morning (November 29). According to local TV station WWLTV, Angela Bryant was shot and killed sometime Wednesday night at her home on the 1000 block of Farragut Street. Garry Flot, a spokesman for the new Orleans Police Department, said officers arrived at the home at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday morning after receiving a call describing “unknown trouble” at the address. They found the door to the residence open and the victim on the floor. Her two children, ages 2 and 7, were reportedly home at the time of the shooting, but were unharmed. Bryant had celebrated her birthday on Wednesday and was likely shot later that night. Her husband was said to have been out of town on business at the time of the murder, and police were looking for her 1998 black Lexus GS 400 which was missing.

    Its fucked up cuz we are killng each other. I know its messed up that its Fresh’s sister and its Sean Taylor but this shit happpens everyday and it needs to stop. Blacks killing blacks, why? for what is the purpose? Now 2 more children are only gonna be raised by 1 parent. Thats the problem with our generation of blacks now. Too many of us are only being raised by one parent and we aren’t getting the correct guidance that we need to become the men and women to help better the society.       Well to answer your question. When any one dies it is a sad and unfortunent situation, especialy under those conditions. And no it doesnt make it anymore tradgic because her brother is famous but what happens is, It’s almost like you feel compelled to share your condolences with someone when or if you have the chance to. N no matter what events led up to the situation it does not make it right. I dont care what happend. Now 2 Kids are motherless. There is no right way to look at it.     What the fuck is it with the city of New Orleans?

    I spent all of the 90s traveling there from Chicago and always felt 10 times easier steppin’ around Chi-town than I ever goddamn did in The Big Easy.

    I remember speaking to a family friend down there who said he had a crew of trash surround his car one night in the Warehouse District to lift his wallet & car and every one of the dipshits was sporting an AK-47.

    As much as I miss the good food, ladies, and sights of New Orleans, I am glad as fuck my parents finally got out of there a year before the levees broke.

    Sorry to hear things are only getting heavier for the decent folk of the city.
