Kanye West Attends his Mother’s Funeral in Oklahoma City

On Tuesday (November 20) Kanye West and his family gathered to pay their respects to his late mother, Dr. Donda West, at a funeral in her childhood home of Oklahoma City. According to Access Hollywood, Kanye arrived at the True Vine Ministry church flanked by friends and family for the private service. Donda West’s coffin arrived at the church, which holds around 2500 people, in an all white hearse, and was brought to the cemetery. Soul legend Anita Baker and G.O.O.D. Music recording artist John Legend performed during the service, and several stars, including Jay-Z and Beyonce were also reportedly in attendance. Donda West passed away on November 10 following a cosmetic surgical procedure. She was 58 years old.
