Hot 97 radio DJ and custom car enthusiast Funkmaster Flex has teamed up with Ford to create a customized version of their upcoming 2009 Flex SUV. The Flex2, as Flex’s one of a kind custom version has been dubbed, was recently unveiled at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas. Due to hit Ford dealerships next summer, the Ford Flex will offer consumers a nearly endless range of customization options. The Flex2 features a two-tone paint job courtesy of House of Kolor Kandy, a faux brushed aluminum roof, 3dCarbon accents, Katzkin black leather custom seat covers, two Invision headrest mounted DVD systems and custom 22-inch NC Forged wheels. “Whether you're flossin' with your friends, going to the club or riding around with your girl, the Ford Flex is the next urban street vehicle, and Flex2 is my interpretation of the ultimate in street luxury,” Flex said in a statement.
