According to a report from TMZ, Foxy Brown has been released from "punitive segregation." The rapper, who has been serving a year-long sentence at Riker's Island since September, was supposed to serve 76 days in solitary after she got into an altercation with another prisoner and refused to take a urine test in October. Now, after only 40 days, she has been released early for "good behavior."

While Foxy serves out her sentence, KOCH Records and Black Hand Entertainment are preparing to release Foxy's fourth album, Brooklyn's Don Diva, in February 2008.
