Foxy’s Manager and Black Hand Entertainment CEO Chaz Williams to be Featured on BET’s American Gangster

Chaz Williams, the CEO of Queens, NY based Black Hand Entertainment, and manager of Foxy Brown, will be profiled on an upcoming episode of BET’s American Gangster series. Williams is said to have robbed over 60 banks during the 1970’s before he was eventually caught and sentenced to a 95 year prison sentence. During his incarceration, Chaz—or Slim, as he was known on the streets—continued to pull off heists by taking advantage of a prison work release program. After a successful appeal, his sentence was reduced to 15 years. Upon his release, Williams sought out a legal hustle, and eventually founded Black Hand Entertainment, whose roster includes up and coming Queens MCs Grafh and Prinz. In May of 2005, Foxy Brown hired Chaz as her new manager. These days Chaz oversees the day to day operations at Black Hand and has established a prison outreach program to share his story of redemption with prisoners. American Gangster: Chaz Williams airs on Wednesday, November 21 at 10:00 p.m. EST.

    OG Bobby J is an asshole…I’m tired of him and dumbfucks like him misusing the word “glorify” just because someone’s story gets told doesn’t means it’s glorified. The show tries to educate stupid people(OG Bobby J) and rappers who name drop people but don’t know the story of what those people did.

    i have to agree with the guys above me because the BET show american gangster doesnt glorify criminals they interview people who know the criminals and also the police. you get to hear both sides of the story so they dont glorify anything. its not like fox news who only shows things from a conservative perspective.

Just because a person lives an “undesirable lifestyle” to some, does that mean that they don’t deserve the right to tell their story.     Chaz has been feared in New York for a minute. I remember hearing his name dropped on a few of my favorite East Coast songs back in the 90′s. Don’t ask my what the eff Bobby J has done to speak down upon him. At least he’s legit and is doing something positive with his money, even if his flagship artist is locked down at Rikers.

This country was built on criminal activity, criminal enterprise is the World’s biggest buisness, with over a Trillion Dollars and counting. BET highlights the ups and downs of Black Entreprnurs that took a wrong turn, not some dope fiend alley way goonies with a switch blade ready to rape a white woman, as Hollywood has potraied Blacks in the past.
