Sean “Diddy” Combs will not be charged in connection with an alleged physical altercation between himself and associate Steven Acevedo at a Manhattan nightclub on October 13. Diddy’s attorney, Benjamin Brafman, confirmed the development in a statement to website TMZ.com. "I've been informed by the Manhattan District Attorney's office that after a thorough investigation, they have made a decision not to authorize any arrests in connection with the incident involving Mr. Combs and Steven Acevado on October 13,” Brafman said. “I want to commend the D.A.'s office and the New York City Police Department for conducting a thorough and very fair investigation into this incident and not allowing this private disagreement between two acquaintances to turn into a criminal charge.” According to witnesses, Acevedo and Puff were arguing at a Chelsea club when the dispute turned physical. The Bad Boy head was said to have struck the man, who he has reportedly known for over a decade, in the face while screaming “I’ll kill you punk!” Acevedo left the club and filed a report with the police later that morning.
