Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash has reportedly made New York State’s list of tax deadbeats for failing to pay over $2 million in taxes. According to the New York Post, Dash’s name appears alongside another 225,000 New York residents who collectively owe more than $1 billion in back taxes. The names of several other celebrities also appear on the list, including Tony Award winning actor Ben Vereen, and Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell, who was murdered in 2002. In April of this year, Dame filed a lawsuit against his accountant, Barry Klarberg, for allegedly mismanaging the mogul’s taxes over a four year period. The suit claimed that Klarberg incorrectly filed Dash’s tax returns for the years 2000, 2001 and 2002, and misreported earnings from the sale of one of his companies.
