According to an AP report, Jay-Z returned to Brooklyn on Wednesday night (Oct. 24) to shoot a performance of new material from his American Gangster album for an episode of VH1′s Storytellers. With a full band, who he dubbed “The Roc Boys,” Hov performed numerous songs from the new album, including “Pray,” “Blue Magic,” “Dreamin’” and “Party Life.” As with all Storytellers performances, Jay prefaced each song by telling the story behind it to the audience, which included Beyoncé. In related news, a full web-rip version of American Gangster leaked to the internet late last night. The retail album is not due in stores until November 6th.
