Eve’s Upcoming Album, Here I Am, Pushed Back To 2008
According to Billboard.com, the former first lady of the Ruff Ryders, Eve, will have to wait until 2008 to drop her new album, Here I Am. The LP, which will be released on Geffen Records, was originally intended to drop in August, but was subsequently pushed back until October 16. Now, the album has been delayed again, this time until 2008. No reason was given for the delay, but Eve’s two singles off the LP — the Swizz Beatz produced “Tambourine” and the Sean Paul assisted “Give It To Me” — have failed to generate a buzz within the hip-hop community. Here I Am will be Eve’s first album since 2002’s Eve-olution.
