Trina’s New Single, “Single Again” Stolen from the Studio

trina11.jpgTrina’s record label, Slip-N-Slide Records, announced yesterday (September 26) that the Miami rapper’s new single, called “Single Again,” had recently been stolen from the studio. Although it is unclear who leaked the track, it is believed to have been stolen from a computer hard drive and distributed across the internet via a mass email. “This mishap is extremely unfortunate [and the] official “Single Again” track featuring Trina by herself will be re-released the proper way by the end of the week,” said Slip-N-Slide CEO Ted Lucas in a statement. “I am thankful that nothing else was taken from the computer, I guess we can look at this as a bizarre experience and move forward with upcoming Trina’s project.” Trina herself was said to be “in shock.” The Baddest Chick’s new album, Da Baddest Chick Pt. 2: Reloaded, is due out in February of 2008.
