The Game Will Stand Trial on Three Felonies, Faces Five Years in Prison
On Tuesday (September 4), The Game was ordered to stand trial on three felony charges he picked up after an alleged incident during a February 24 basketball game. According to the Associated Press, the judge determined that there was sufficient evidence in the case and set the rapper’s arraignment for September 25. Game has been charged with making criminal threats, possession of a firearm in a school zone and exhibiting a firearm on the grounds of a facility for minors. Should he be convicted, he faces up to five years in prison. According to reports, the rapper is accused of punching an opponent during a basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in L.A. Witnesses say that he then retrieved a pistol from a red Cadillac Escalade and threatened to shoot the person. He was later arrested on May 11, charged, and released on $50,000 bail.
