Nelly Holding Auditions for All-Female Drumline

If you’re a female and you know how to play Nelly’s “Grillz” on the trumpet, then you may have a shot at joining him onstage at the upcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta. The St. Louis rapper is holding open auditions for an all-girl drumline for his performance at the awards on October 13. This Sunday, September 30, auditions will be held in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, St. Louis and New Orleans. Prospective candidates should know how to play the trumpet, tuba, snare drum, bass drum or tri toms and be able to march with their instrument.
