Master P “Plays The Industry” In New Video Game
According to The Hollywood Reporter, No Limit Records founder, Master P, is collaborating with actor Seth Green on a new video game entitled Play the Industry. The New Orleans native’s P Miller Enterprises is joining in on the development of the hip-hop themed role-playing game with Seth Green and Matthew Senreich of Stoopid Monkey Prods and ShadowMachine Films. Play the Industry will be a 3-D game similar to The Sims, as gamers will be able to control the everyday lives of an athlete, power broker or hip-hop artist. The game, however, is in the early stages of development, but should be released by late 2009. “We really want to take the time and make sure we do this right,” Senreich told The Hollywood Reporter. “But the good thing we have going into this is we are developing the creative ahead of time, and we’re very close to having that up and running.” Also, according to the principal owners of ShadowMachine, Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico, it was Master P who came to them with the idea for Play the Industry. “Master P is at the forefront of so many new things, including putting out clean albums that are not derogatory and don’t have cursing and that sort of stuff,” says Campodonico.
