graduation1.jpgKanye West has emerged as the clear winner in his heated sales race with 50 Cent. According to an early report from Billboard.com, Kanye’s new LP, Graduation will post first week sales totaling 957,000 tomorrow morning when Nielsen Soundscan reports the final tally. The astonishing total will place Graduation ahead of 50’s latest, Curtis, by 266,000 units and stands as the highest first week total since ‘Ye’s last album Late Registration. The two albums will easily snag the No. 1 and 2 spots on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Kenny Chesney, the country music star who warned 50 and Kanye not to count him out of the race, will land at No. 3 after moving 387,000 copies of his new disc, Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates.
