diddy11.jpgSean “Diddy” Combs is being asked to produce photographs of rings he was wearing on the night of an alleged assault at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. According to CBS News, the request was made in court papers filed on Monday (September 10) by Michael M. Marzban, attorney for alleged victim Gerald Rechnitzer. In March, Rechnitzer filed suit against Diddy seeking an unspecified amount of damages after claiming that the Bad Boy head punched him in the jaw during a dispute at the hotel following an Oscar Awards after party. Marzban believes the photos will help match Diddy’s jewelry with his client’s injuries. "Needless to say, Combs does not wear simple rings," Marzban writes in the motion. "The rings he wore when he struck [Rechnitzer] are important and critical to the bio-mechanics of this case." Marzban is also requesting documents he says will prove Diddy was at the Roosevelt that night and how much alcohol he consumed. The motion additionally seeks information about the mogul’s security detail on the night in question. According to Marzban, Diddy has failed to fulfill prior requests for this information due to his globe trotting lifestyle. "After several conversations with [Combs'] attorney, it became apparent to me that [Combs'] constant partying both in the United States and abroad took priority...," the attorney wrote in the motion. In July, L.A. police declined to charge Diddy citing a lack of evidence.
