Common and Q-Tip Hit the Road Together

As previously reported on XXLMag.com, Common and A Tribe Called Quest frontman, Q-Tip, have decided to form as a new duo called The Standard. Now, the group will hit the road together on the 2K Sports Bounce Tour this fall. The tour, which promotes 2K Sports’ new video, NBA 2K8, will travel the country for the next month. Tip, who is a playable character in NBA 2K8, will also release his new album, The Renaissance early next year. In addition, A Tribe Called Quest will be honored at this year’s VH1 Hip-Hop Honors, which premiers on Monday, October 8 at 10:00 p.m. EST. The tour dates for the 2K Sports Bounce Tour are as follows.
