Yung Joc Launches “Roc With Joc” Contest

yungjoc2.jpgBad Boy South recording artist Yung Joc is collaborating with The Rockport Company for the “Roc with Joc” contest, a multi-city talent search taking place in Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Atlanta. Contestants will have the chance to call into their local radio stations in the aforementioned cities to explain to a panel of judges why they are a true “hustler.” Each city finalist will then be flown to Atlanta for the grand finale, where they will be given a tour of Yung Joc’s Block Entertainment studio a preview of Rockport’s new line of Established 1971 Footwear. A winner will then be chosen during Joc’s album release party for his new LP, Hustlenomics. The grand prizewinner will be awarded an opportunity to work along side Joc on his Hustlenomics tour and appear in a Rockport advertisement. “I have worked hard to overcome many obstacles to be where I am today,” Joc says. “I am excited to be partnering with Rockport to provide an opportunity for hustlers like myself that are on their grind who otherwise may never had had a chance to make it.”
