yungjoc.jpgBlock Entertainment/Bad Boy South recording artist, Yung Joc, will release his sophomore album, Hustlenomics, on August 28. After the release of his debut platinum LP, New Joc City, Hustlenomics finds Joc collaborating with some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Snoop Dogg, Gorilla Zoe, Diddy, The Game, Trick Daddy, Bun B, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Young Dro and Pharrell all make guest appearances on the album. In addition, the production will be handled by the likes of The Neptunes, Chris Flash, Cool & Dre, Jazze Pha and Drumma Boy. “This album shows growth and maturity,” Joc says. “I’m just expressing myself with different types of songs and different types of flows. A lot of cats think once you get on you get to make money, do shows, go to all the parties, and all this. There’s a lot more to it than that.” Block, the founder and CEO of Block Entertainment, says it’s Joc’s work ethic that makes him stand apart from the rest of the hip-hop industry. “Joc is the hardest working artist out there,” he says. “This is his dream and he’s been ready to work hard at it since day one, way before I signed him. From the rhymes, to the tracks, to the videos, Joc has put a lot of himself in Hustlenomics and his audience is going to feel that. This is a very special project for the both of us.” In order to promote his new LP, Joc is also venturing out on the Screamfest ’07 tour with artists such as T.I., Ciara and T-Pain.
