sway-tech.jpgSway and Tech’s Wake Up Show, the longest running syndicated hip-hop show on mainstream radio, is coming to DVD for the first time. The DVD will feature interviews and freestyles from the likes of Eminem, Xzibit, Pharrell and Cee-Lo. The Wake Up Show originated 15 years ago as the brainchild of Sway Calloway and King Tech. The California radio show became a mainstay in hip-hop in the ‘90s, helping to break artists such as Ras Kass, Eminem and Crooked I. In addition, the late great 2Pac and Notorious B.I.G. both gave their final interviews on the Wake Up Show. The Wake Up Show still airs on Power 106 in Los Angeles on Sunday nights and is syndicated in San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix and Paris, France. The Wake Up Show DVD will be released on August 7 through Melee Entertainment.
