lupe.jpgLupe Fiasco recently told Billboard.com that the release date for his sophomore LP, The Cool, has been pushed back to November. Originally scheduled for an October 30 release, the album will now hit stores on November 20. Lupe is working on the album now with producers Pro and Soundtrack from his 1st & 15th record label, and may tap friends Pharrell and Kanye West for beats as well. The skateboarding MC also revealed that he, West and Pharrell are in discussions to officially release an album as the three man supergroup CRS (Child Rebel Soldiers). The trio debuted their first and only track, “Us Placers” on Kanye’s recent Can’t Tell Me Nothin’ mixtape. Lupe produced the track, which samples “The Eraser” by Radiohead’s Thom York. If the CRS album does see the light of day, it may be one of the last projects that fans will see Lupe on. He revealed to Billboard that he is growing weary of making hip-hop music and will probably hang it up after his third LP. "I'm just wearing down," he told Billboard. "I'm never doing mixtapes again, not even Internet ones. My whole energy for making hip-hop music is slowing down.”
