The Game Pleads Not Guilty to Three Felony Charges
The Game appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom today and pleaded not guilty on three felony counts. According to the L.A.'s KNBC Channel 4, the rapper’s appearance came one day before his scheduled arraignment on charges of possession of a firearm in a school zone, exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer and making criminal threats. The charges stem from a February 24 incident during which it is alleged that the rapper brandished a weapon during a pickup basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in L.A. According to authorities, Game punched an unnamed victim before retrieving a gun from his red Cadillac Escalade and threatening to shoot the person. Game remains free on 50,000 bail and is due back in court on June 27.
