    6) “Holy Holy”
    Produced by Pete Rock

^that track will prolly be one of the sickest this year.Cant wait for the album, hopefully he’ll release another single cuz Ive completely forgotten about Listen!!! although it was good

  • http://need4sheed.com Junkman

He needs to do more ish with Sa-Ra. That “Feel The Bass” beat was perfect for him. Damn, this looks good on paper, even though Beautiful Struggle sucked. When he stops trying to cover so many topics and just raps is when it’s truly somethin to hear. He went all out on the producers here. Raheem DeVaughn, Dion, Musiq are some of the lone R&Bers that I like.

  • Knowledge Speaks

The album already leaked, but I’m still gonna purchase me a copy.

    SUPPORT REAL HIP HOP ARTISTS.

  • http://notbadforanexslave.com Nelson

The album had leaked. I got a copy. Excellent stuff. Back to his vintage self. I’ll certainly be buying one for me and one for my nephew.

  • http://www.xxlmag.com Ayoola

Man what are you fools saying? the beautiful struggle was wack? To me it was still a good album but maybe its only me that listens to real hiphop i dunno! neu sense as your name says you have no sense! you dont even know anything about hiphop who’s your favourite rapper vanilla ice? eardrum 2007 thank you for putting out real shit kweli! your number 1 fan! peace!

  • super god

heard the album…amazing…and im talibs biggest critic…production and lyrics are ill…

  • T.R.E.Y.

that “In the Mood” was on K’s mixtape, wack pseudo-jazz shit. ’bout the only thing notable ’bout it was that Kanye murdered Kweli on the mic, but i guess he won’t be on the official one

  • Ali

talib is boring & he fell off???? woooow hip hop just died

  • taywil

soon the new day has the best beat of the year !!!

  • http://www.myspace.com/hych hych

  • http://www.myspace.com/hych hych

about time the liberation wasnt the best work ive heard!
    uk england

  • HipHop

ALI, hip hop ain’t dead is ass, Talib always comes correct. Each track got a different topic for each track which is what an album is about. Creativity. The Best Music sells the least cause mf’s are scared of being educated on some shit. Grow the Fck Up! It’s good to hear real feel good music and not hear bout trappin and shootin our own people all the damn time. That gets you nowhere but a grave and that’s a proven fact. I got the album(still buyin it on release date) and it’s bangin. It’s all about content. Next up Common.

  • Gnicks

Production seems like its gonna be tight. If Talib brings the lyrics it should be a nice album

  • Goreman

beautiful struggle was a great album it was a weak album compared to other kweli stuff but i wouldn’t say Ear Drum is back to his vintage self like Right About Now and Liberation (both great albums even if there was no hype) it’s a new sound more diverse line of producers and, as always, great lyrics.

  • J Macc

Talib Kweli is ill he lined up the right producers most people just dont understand him he should be what mainstream is about because 90% of mainstream right now is garbage and has no message for the people

  • http://www.elrincondebuda.com.ar Buda

I have the album…it rocks…Solid productions with nice beats, great lirycs…just great. Hot thing the best song…can´t argue that..

  • Vicious Seiger

I Still feel Talib and Mos. The Beautiful Struggle was at first a disappointment but after I kept playing it more and more the album grew on me. It was the first time I actually heard Jean Grae and I got to say – After hearing her Hard to Find (At least for me) EP I feel she’s one of the best MC’s male or female (Can’t Wait for her Blacksmith Debut). Back to Talib, I buying this album regardless – he’s had me open after “Quality” and “T.B.S.” pretty much kept my interest years after it’s release. I don’t expect Talib to go and do Kanye or 50 numbers in sales but I do expect same quality of music he always delivers.

  • http://... jay

Man, check the beat on that soon the new day track and you’ll know it’s a wrap. Kweli and Madlib rock’d that joint!!!!

  • Truth

Yall niggas is dumb..this is real hip hop..open your ears..niggas blow’n thru your eardrum..this album is gonna be serious..ya dont know about real hip hop..get with tha program kiddies

  • http://teenagegraffiti.blogspot.com/ Hoopin4th

fist of all, im sure half of yall dudes only understand cookie cutter rhymes, and only get about 25% of the rhymes.

which is why curtis is a better cd for you to cop, this cd is a monster…..all of kewlis cds have are hot, add common to that and kanye becoming the best lyrcist in the game with little respect frm these wanna be thugs……..who failed english……..so i can see who you wouldnt think this dude was ill its because you dont get 75% of the rhymes

  • Eric

lol@ Kanye becoming the best lyricist in the game. Really?? Did you pick up Desire when it dropped? Kanye brings something very unique and he’s an ill producer but best lyricist? naw, not really,….on topic, if this album is anything near Quality then it’s gonna be amazing, look forward to checking it out
