unk.jpgRemy Cointreau USA, Inc., which distributes the popular alcoholic beverage, Remy Martin, is celebrating Black Music Month this June with 10 hip-hop artists from across the nation. From June to August, each of the 10 artists — which include Saigon, Ca$his, DJ Unk, Trae and Slum Village — will make 10 stops in their hometowns, including a concert performance and a trip to a local charity, where Remy Martin will make a donation in their honor. In addition, Remy Martin has formed a website — www.getinteresting.com — with daily interviews, prizes and a poll for fans to vote on their favorite local hip-hop song. “Black Music Month has become one of the most important programs at Remy Martin and we are excited to kick off our biggest year yet with a celebration that is both national and local,” says Steve Hissam, Remy Martin Category Director. “And we are proud to continue to give consumers a voice with our online poll. Nobody knows the local music scene better then they do — it’s going to be great to hear what they have to say.” The full list of artists taking place in Remy Martin’s Black Music Month promotions are as follows.
