Eve Takes Over Rap City

Eve will be taking over BET’s Rap City for the entire week beginning June 18 in anticipation of her new album Here I Am. In celebration of Black Music Month, the pitbull in a skirt is bringing in some of hip-hop’s most influential women to discuss the current state of women in hip-hop and the power of women in the industry. Expected guests include Remy Ma, Dr. Roxanne Shante, DJ Jazzy Joyce, former Vibe editor Mimi Valdez and Monie Love. Also expected to drop by are fellow Philly native DJ Jazzy Jeff, Common and Swizz Beatz. Rap City airs each weekday at 5:00 p.m. Here I Am arrives in stores on July 12.
