Cee-Lo Pens Cartoon Network Theme Song

Cee-Lo Green, one half of platinum selling duo Gnarls Barkley and former Goodie Mob member, has been tapped by the Cartoon Network to pen the channel’s summer theme song. The tune, called “Get Away,” is also performed by the Atlanta native and was commissioned by the network to celebrate its 2007 summer programming schedule. Fellow ATLien Andre 3000’s cartoon series, Class of 3000 is slated to begin is second season this summer along with brand new episodes of other original series such as Camp Lazlo and Squirrel Boy.
