classof3000.jpgAndre “3000” Benjamin, the eclectic member of OutKast, will release a soundtrack to his Cartoon Network animated series entitled Class of 3000: Music Volume One. Class of 3000, which was created by Andre and Thomas W. Lynch, premiered in November 2006 on the Cartoon Network. The series was an immediate success, earning one of the network’s highest rated original series debut. The cartoon is based in Atlanta, Ga., and follows music star Sunny Bridges, voiced by Dre, as he teaches a group of gifted musical students at the Westley School for the Performing Arts. With the second season of Class of 3000 airing on Thursdays at 7 p.m., Andre decided to release a 14-track soundtrack featuring all new music he exclusively wrote and produced for the show. Class of 3000: Music Volume One will be in stores on July 3.
