wu-tang-logo.jpgFor the release of their fifth album, The 8 Diagrams, the Wu-Tang Clan has signed a European distribution deal with Bodog Music. The company will release the Clan’s first album in six years in Germany on September 7 and in the UK and the rest of Europe on September 10. “This is really what Bodog Music is about: Hip-Hop at it’s highest,” says Bodog founder, Calvin Ayre. “With the Wu-Tang Clan being the widely respected and revered group that they are, and Bodog’s international music distribution expertise, the potential of this relationship is unlimited.” While details surrounding The 8 Diagrams are still sketchy, the album will feature the eight remaining Wu members and unreleased verses from the late ODB, which were recorded during the sessions for the group’s first album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). The 8 Diagrams will also include an ODB tribute song called “Life Changes.” “The RZA himself has called upon his Wu-Tang brothers to reunite and show the real unity and raw force of hip-hop,” The RZA said in a statement. “How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?”
