Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas Formally Charged with Drug Possession, Faces Fine
Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas was formally hit with drug possession charges on Thursday (May 10) stemming from his arrest during a traffic stop in March. According to People magazine, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has charged the Grammy Award winning artist with possession of marijuana while driving, and possession of 28.5 grams or less of marijuana. The rapper was stopped in Industry, CA on March 27 for a minor traffic infraction and found to be in possession of the illegal drug. If convicted, Taboo faces a maximum fine of $200 and no jail time. He is set to be arraigned on May 25.
