Mike Jones is pushing back the release date of his sophomore album, The American Dream, from May 8 to July 10. The delay is due in part to the release of his second single, “My 64,” which will debut on MTV on May 16 and BET on May 18. In addition, the Houston MC is setting up an “Ask Mike Jones” email address in order to promote his new album. “Because I received so many calls on 281.330.8004, there were many times when my friends (fans) couldn’t get through,” Jones says. “With the email address it will be much easier for me to communicate with them because I receive emails from that address on my BlackBerry that is always with me.” Fans can reach out directly to Mike Jones and send questions to AskMikeJones@gmail.com.
