foxy-11.jpgFoxy Brown has been ordered to provide a DNA sample to Broward County prosecutors in relation to her upcoming trial on charges of battery and obstruction of justice, reports Florida’s Local10.com. While further details where not available, prosecutors will likely attempt to prove that the rapper did indeed spit on a beauty supply store owner as she stands accused of doing. Foxy was arrested in February at a Pembroke Pines mall after Queen Beauty Supply owner Hayssam Ghoneim claimed the rapper squirted hair glue at him, attempted to push him and knocked over display shelves in the store. A police officer who responded to a call placed by Ghoneim later stated that he had to employ a “takedown maneuver” on the diminutive rapper when he took her into custody. Having previously entered a plea of not guilty to the charges, on Friday (May 18) Foxy rejected a plea offer. Judge Joel Lazarus set a trial date of September 24.
