snoop1.jpgLos Angeles County prosecutors announced on Tuesday (April 10) that Snoop Dogg has been formally charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, and the sale or transportation of marijuana. The charges stem from an arrest at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank on October 26. At the time the rapper was approached by police for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of marijuana. He was later released on $35,000 bail. In November, Burbank police executed a search warrant as Snoop was leaving a taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and found drugs and a firearm in his vehicle. He was booked and released after posting $60,000 bail. If convicted of these most recent charges, Snoop faces up to 4 years in prison. According to the Associated Press his arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow in Pasadena.
