camp-lo.jpgCamp Lo, the Bronx duo of Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede, will release a new EP this August with longtime producer Ski entitled, Ski Beatz Presents: Camp Lo…Another Heist. The album is the group’s first since their 2002 release, Let’s Do It Again. Camp Lo first gained notoriety in 1997 with their smash shit, “Luchini AKA This Is It” off their debut album, Uptown Saturday Night. “The cats who never heard Camp Lo’s music are gonna be surprised to hear something this new and refreshing, and the longtime fans will definitely not be disappointed,” says Ski, who produced the entirety of Uptown Saturday Night as well as Jay-Z’s classic songs, “Dead Presidents” and “Feelin’ It.” Another Heist will be released as a joint venture between Ski’s label, Redefinition Records, and High Water Music. The album’s first single, “Ticket 4 Two,” is billed as a return to Camp Lo’s melodic-soul from Uptown Saturday Night.
