talib-kweli.jpgBrooklyn rapper Talib Kweli is set to headline the Virgin College Mega Tour which kicks off on April 7 at The House of Blues in Las Vegas. According to Billboard.com, Kweli will be the first hip-hop headliner in the history of the tour, which is presented by the Virgin Megastores’ chain of music retailers. As part of the festivities, the VCMT Daytime Village will be setup at school’s hosting shows and will feature video game competitions, artist meet-and-greets, batting cages and a new artist stage presented by CMJ. According to Marty Berman of Integrate Marketing, the tour’s producer, ticket prices will range from free to $20 depending on the school. So far, 12 of the 18 scheduled tour dates have been confirmed.
