Big Pun’s Son to Perform At Tribute Show for His Father

The late Big Pun's son, who raps under the name Baby Pun, will be performing tonight (February 8) at a tribute show for his father. The show, which is taking place at Club Duvet in New York City will be hosted by Pun's widow Liza Rios and is being filmed by Jerry Vargas of Miranda Movies for an upcoming documentary. Pun died on February 7, 2000 and his body was cremated according to his wishes. In an odd twist, the late rappers ashes will be on display during the tribute. "It's so people who weren't able to attend his funeral can come and pay their respects," said Vargas told the New York Post. Remy Ma, Cuban Link and Triple Seis, all longtime associates of Pun, are expected to be in attendance.
