In a slow week in both the sales and new rap albums released, Nas and Young Jeezy both managed to hang onto spots in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 charts. Jeezy's The Inspiration sold around 45,300 copies and moved down two spots to no. 7. Meanwhile, Nas moved slighting less with 45,117 copies of Hip-Hop Is Dead to land in the no. 8 spot. Both artists experienced sales decreases amounting to just over 50%. Elsewhere on the charts this week we see Eminem and company at no. 12 with about 41,000 in total sales for the week, bringing Eminem Presents: The Re-Up to a to date total of 739,000. Further down the charts we see Jay-Z at no. 25 and Snoop at no. 26. Jay's Kingdom Come sold just under 32,000 copies for to date total of 1,238,703. Snoop's Tha Blue Carpet Treatment moved about 31,000 copies bringing his total just slightly north of 668,000.
