Producer Disco D Commits Suicide
Producer Disco D, born David Shayman, comitted suicide earlier today (January 23) XXLMAG.COM has learned. He was 27 years old. Shayman, who grew up in Ann Arbor Michagan, made a name for himself as a DJ in area nightclubs and purveyor of mix cd's while he was still in high school. He first got widespread notoriety in the hip-hop community as a result of his work on the 50 Cent song “Ski Mask Way” from The Massacre. More recently, D contributed tracks to albums for Trick Daddy, Lil Scrappy and Crime Mob. Far from just a beatmaker, Shayman also held a degree with honors from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
