Nate Dogg Files Suit Against Suge, Seeking Unpaid Royalties

Nate Dogg has filed suit against former Death Row Records head Suge Knight, seeking no less than $10 million in unpaid royalties. According to court documents posted on thesmokinggun.com, Nate claims that Suge has repeatedly refused to provide an account of unpaid royalties and that he lied to and threatened Nate Dogg when the Death Row head filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year. Nate states he was unaware of a September 2006 deadline to file a claim against Knight. In his suit, Nate D-O-double-G also claims that he cannot recall if he ever signed a contract with Suge or Death Row surrendering his royalties, but that if he did, it was still Suge’s responsibility to collect and distribute royalties.
