ludacris.jpgA Lexington Kentucky High School band has been told that they will not be allowed to open up for Ludacris at a February 22 concert. This past weekend, concert promoter Jim Lunsford announced that the Lexington Bryan Station High School band would open the show for the rapper, but school officials have decided to pull the plug on the performance. According to the Associated press, Fayette County School Superintendent Stu Silberman explained that he was not familiar with Ludacris when Lunsford first made the offer. After a parent sent an email containing some of Luda’s lyrics, Silberman met with the school principal and the band director and decided not to allow students to attend the show. Lunsford has stated that he isn’t trying to judge anybody, but he wants feels the move is in the best interests of the students.
