Jermaine Dupri, Wyclef Jean and Daddy Yankee to Appear in Red Cross PSAs
Recording artists Jermaine Dupri, Wyclef Jean and Daddy Yankee have teamed up with the American Red Cross to produce and star in a series of public service announcements for print, television and radio. The PSAs were developed by the nonprofit Red Cross organization to assist urban communities across the country in preparing for emergencies and to reinforce a feeling of safety among residents. The ads target younger audiences and are aimed at encouraging people of all ethnicities to volunteer with their local chapter of the Red Cross. Topics covered in the ads include the importance of donating blood, preparing a disaster kit and volunteering your time. All of the ads can currently be viewed at the Red Cross Web site (www.redcross.org).
